Michigan’s oldest Courthouse has been turned into a Museum. It was built in 1939 by then renowned architect Gilbert Avery using the ancient Greek revival design with a triangular pediment and columns.

This Courthouse Museum is amongst the few withstanding to date and it therefore becomes ideal even for students to visit and witness the brilliance of our ancestors. It not only serves as an archives center but also headquarter for the historical association for the Berrien County. Its 1st floor has a gallery that shows cases the history of the Berrien County.
